London: The fourth match of the 5-match Test series between India and England is being played at Kennington Oval from today. England, Joe Root who won the toss, elected to bowl first. The first session was completely in the name of England and the hosts took India’s 106 runs and five wickets. After the failure of the top order, the fans were expecting a big innings from Indian captain Virat Kohli. However, Captain Kohli’s flick was caught by Bairstow in the keepers end.

In the 28th over of the game, England captain Joe Root dropped a simple catch of Virat Kohli at first slip off Chris Woakes. Kohli was batting on 22 when Root dropped his catch.

Earlier today, India had quite a disappointing start, after India’s top order failed to stay at the stumps. Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 11 by Chris Woakes for just 11 runs, while Ollie dismissed Rahul with a LBW for 17 runs.

Pujara who was sent back to the dressing room after just making a mere 4 runs, was dismissed by Anderson for the 11th time in Test Cricket. On the other hand, Jadeja was also dismissed by Woakes. He walked back to the pavilion by making just 10 runs. And now again King Kohli gets dismissed by Robinson at 50.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli, today, became the first batsman to score the fastest 23000 runs in International Test cricket. Kohli who made a record in just 490 matches surpassed Sachin who did it in 522 matches. With this, Virat becomes the 7th player in the world and only 3rd in India to surpass this score.
