Bhubaneswar: The Cabinet meeting was held today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in the capital city of Odisha. As many as 7 proposals got the Cabinet approval today. Following the Cabinet meeting, Minister, Works, Law and Excise Prithviraj Harichandan briefed the Press about the decisions taken in the Cabinet. The Minister, Panchayati Raj, Drinking Water and Rural Development Rabi Narayan Naik was also present during the press briefing.
A total no of 7 Agenda items of 6 Departments were discussed in the Cabinet Meeting and all of them have been approved, the PRO to Chief Secretary informed in a note.
The clause 4(6) of Odisha Public Distribution System OPDS (Control) Order, 2016 is amended and the process of replacing institutional dealers in place of private dealers has been extended to 31.03. 2026. The proposal has got the approval of the Cabinet. The Odisha Superior Judicial Service and Odisha Judicial Service Rules, 2007 amended to strengthen the legal accumbency, administrative capability and to enlighten the judicial officers regarding court management.
