Bhubaneswar: August 29: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday announced implementation of the 7th Pay Commission Recommendations. While announcing, Naveen said, ‘My government has decided to implement the recommendations of the Committee constituted for examination of 7th Central Pay Commission Report and its adoption for the state government employees.’
‘About 4.5 lakh serving State government employees and about 3.5 lakh retired State government employees will get enhanced emoluments and higher pension respectively,” said CM Naveen.
The implementation of the recommendations will put an additional burden of Rs 4,500 crore on the State exchequer, he said, adding that the employees will get the pay hike in September month’s salary
