Bhubaneswar, Nov 30: Today the Commissionerate Police cracked a snatching gang and arrested eight members including five minor boys named Dinesh Kumar aka Ganesh, Pintan Kumar Dalai, Bimal Kumar Ranshingh aka Chandan, Amit Kumar Das, Nitish Das, Malinka Digal, Soumya Behera and Jiban Kumar Jena. Based on information given by sources, the Kharavela Nagar police took these eight members of the gang into custody and also seized four bikes and 50 mobile phones from their possession. Police was on the search for the gang following a series of snatching cases taking place here. It’s stated that Pintan is an engineering student and Jiban studies in Kendriya Vidyalaya-1 in Satyanagar here and Nitish is a student of ITI at Khapuria in Cuttack.
