Kendrapada, Jan 22: Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda has selected Singhagaon panchayat under Pattamundai block of the district as his second model village to be developed under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY).
Panda on Thursday wrote a letter to Kendrapara district magistrate and collector Debraj Senapati in this regard.
“I look forward to your co-operation for the expeditious and easy implementation of various programmes to facilitate holistic development of the Singhagaon Gram Panchayat, in its realisation as an Adarsh Gram,” the letter said.
Earlier, Baijayant had selected Golarahat of Derabish block as the first model village.
