Bhubaneswar, Feb 22: Tirtol BJD MLA Dr Rajashree Mallick has denied that she had any links with the notorious Dhalsamant brothers as alleged by former top cop Anadi Sahoo.
She said, “Anadi Sahoo’s statement over my association with D-Brothers is ‘imaginary’ and ‘baseless’. I have no direct or indirect link with the accused gangsters”, said Mallick in a statement.
She said, “the former MP Sahoo has misused the constitutional right freedom of expression”.
Mallick’s reaction came a day after Sahoo alleged on Saturday that three BJD MLAs – Debasis Samantray (Barabati-Cuttack), Rajashree Mallick (Tirtol) and Pramod Mallick (Niali) – and former State DGP Sanjiv Marik had close link with the arrested D-brothers.
