Bhubaneswar, Feb 26: An inmate of Athmallik Sub-Jail in Angul committed suicide on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Narendra Mallick, a resident of Manpur village in Bheden block in Bargarh district.
Mallick was undergoing jail term for the murder of his wife, said sources.
