Bhubaneswar, March 16: The Federation of Habildars, Constables and Sepoys, Odisha has postponed its proposed protest meeting till April 27, 2016.
The federation had earlier announced to hold an agitation in front of the Assembly on March 16 (today) to press for fulfilment of its six demands, including resolving of dissimilarity in Grade Pay.
Representatives of the federation held talks with the Home Secretary over their demands and postponed the proposed agitation.
“If demands are not met in due time as assured by the Home Secretary, we will be forced to resort to agitation from April 27,” said Federation members.
