Bhubaneswar, March 29: Opposition Bhartiya Janata Party Monday announced a host of agitation programmes to protest over what it alleged State government apathy over providing compensation to farmers for their crop loss  and irregularities in National Food Security Act ration cards from next month.

BJP State Unit president Basant Panda also alleged sluggish Biju Pucca Ghar scheme, lack of safe drinking water and Swachha Souchalaya schmes.

He also demanded, at a press conference here, a white paper on what the State Government has achieved in the past sixteen years of its rule with regard to agriculture, irrigation and provision of power for agriculture.

He said party workers will visit every block to highlight the ‘failures’ of the State government.
