New Delhi: April 15: Banks are struggling to recover nearly a billion dollars owed by his Kingfisher Airlines. On the other way, Mr Mallya, 60, has been defying several requests asking him to return to Mumbai for interrogation.
The agency had written to the passport office, saying Mr Mallya has not cooperated with the investigation and has been unable to offer “reasonable justification for skipping summons thrice”.
So, the Foreign Ministry on the recommendation of the Enforcement Directorate suspended Mallya’s Passport.
