Bhubaneswar: May 05: Delhi-Bhubaneswar Air Vistara flight (UK-709) escaped narrowly this morning when a bird hit the aircraft. The aircraft was on its way to Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar.
This has happened while the plane was around 70 kms away from Bhubaneswar Airport. Nose of the aircraft has been badly affected due to the accident, the passengers and crew aboard the plane are safe. The landed at Bhubaneswar Airport at about 8.22am in the morning.
The return journey of the plane has been cancelled following the incident.
