Bhubaneswar: May 23:: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has been awarded ‘CSR Excellence Award in Gold category’ for the year 2015 in a national level seminar held on Saturday at Bhubaneswar. The seminar was organized by the Institute of Quality and Environment Management Services (IQEMS), in association with Rotary Club – Heritage, Bhubaneswar.
On behalf of the company, Shri Pratap Aditya Mishra, Advisor (Corporate Communication & CSR) received the award from Shri Ashok Kumar Tripathy, IAS, Member, Board of Revenue & Chief Administrator, KBK, Government of Odisha. The seminar – based on theme ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives – Value Driven Social Change’ was inaugurated by Dr. Subash Pani, IAS (Retd.) and former Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha.
About 100 participants from various industries, state administration, Non-Governmental Organisations and members of civil societies participated in this seminar. Among others, Dr. R.C. Panda, IAS (Retd), former Secretary, Dept of Industries & Public Enterprises, Govt of India, PVSM Lt. Gen J.S. Ahluwalia, President, Institute of Directors, Shri S.C. Pradhan, South African High Commission, New Delhi, Shri Debabrata Panigrahi, Managing Director, IQEMS were notably present on the occasion.
