Los Angeles: June 04: Legendary former heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad who claimed himself the “greatest of all time” is dead. Ali took his last breath at a hospital in Phoenix where he was undergoing treatment for having a respiratory attack on Friday; his family’s spokesman informed our sources. Spokesman Bob Gunell said to a private news house that after being suffering from Parkinson’s disease for over 32 years; the three-time winning World Boxing Champion finally gave up at the age of 74.

All his descendants dispatched to the hospital of which Laila, Hana and Maryum are already with their iconic father at his bedside one last time as the doctors treating him had given up their last fear stating that he is near the end. Ali had been fighting with this disease for three decades, which is supposedly to known as a neurological condition where both his legendary verbal grace and physical dexterity were gradually declining. Although there were discussions about transporting him to another area of the hospital, sources claimed doctors decided the move “potentially could be deadly,” and the transfer was called off. The Funeral is going to be carried out at his home in Louisville, Kentucky.Ali spent his last years at his residence because the city’s warm climate made it easier for him to manage the illness.

Considered by many to be the greatest heavyweight in boxing history, Ali had always actively participated in charitable functions and continued travelling internationally in spite of his health problems. Although his health was declining gradually; Ali was not an escapist from political controversies. He made a comment in December criticizing the Republican presidential candidate ‘Donald Trump’s proposal’ to ban Muslims from entering the United States. His statement was that being Muslims we need to make our own stand against those who allegedly use Islam to favor their own personal programs. His last public appearance was in April at an event to raise funds for charitable organisations in Arizona.
