Bhubaneswar: June 10: Investigators heading from the Crime Branch under arrested Oscar chit fund company chairman Prabhas Rout from Delhi for illegally deceiving trustful chit fund investors. Crime Branch Special DG, B.K. Sharma reported that the Economics Offence Wing of the state is going to get Rout back to Odisha for further inquisition. Crime Branch sources claim that Rout had been staying all this while in a temple in Hauz Khas area in Delhi with a fictitious name. Also, he had opened a chit fun firm in Gujarat, Odisha and Maharashtra and accusations were filed against him for maiking afraud to customers a tune of Rs. 230 crore. Preceding to this case, the MD of the company was also arrested for the same and his properties were seized.
