‘Sapua and Kumuda Hills’ of Odisha got the status as tourist sites

Bhubaneswar: June 11: Sapua Hill of Dhenkanal district and Kumuda Hill of Bolangir district got the status of tourist site. With the addition of these two sites, the number of tourist sites approved by government of Odisha reached 350.

‘Sapua Hill’, the nature’s paradise, is one of the finest tourist spot of the state, having the attraction of beautiful hill with lush green surroundings. The water source and huge pond at Sapua further add to the beauty of the location. The tourists love to visit the site to witness the varieties of birds having foreign origin.

‘Kumuda Hill’ is just 70 kms away from the district head quarter of Bolangir district, which is famous for its natural surroundings with Dhabaleswar Temple and caves having unique look. Here also lies a huge piece of single stone covering 2.5 kms area and its shape creates an image of an ox.

Both the sites attract lakhs of tourists every year.
