Burla: June 15: There is an allegation that contaminated blood transfusion at Veer Surendra Sai Medical College and Hospital in Burla has been done on wednesday. ELISA test report clearly indicated that the blood was HIV positive, the same blood was later given to a patient by the authorities. Similarly, another patient was also transfused with Hepatitis-infected blood. Such negligence creates doubts on the tests that are being conducted on collected blood at the Hospital. It is said, the hospital authorities must go for either Rapid or ELISA test. After such allegation against the hospital, tension begins in hospital campus.
