Puri: June 16: The crime incident happened in Patnaika resulted in a positive direction. Three persons have been detained by Police, among which one ought to be the prime accused, Manoj Sahoo, resident of Uttara Laxminarayan pur of Puri district. As reported by a police, the gang was active in that area and has committed such crimes. The remaining gang members had attacked a car near Adaspur area in Niali. Very cleverly the accusatory had come from the canal road in order to be hidden from the CCTV Surveillance. Patnaika firing on the National Highway on June 10 had left a man Manoranjan Behera dead and a woman Renubala severely injured.
The police have caught hold of the bike and the pistol involved in the crime scene, meanwhile it also in search of the remaining gang members and constantly making efforts to establish the motif behind the firing.
