CM dedicates City Bus Services, Pipe Water Supply & Aahar Centres  in Koraput

Bhubaneswar, June 30 : The  State Government on Thursday dedicated another 100 pipe water supply projects, 8 Aahar centres and city bus services for the growth of the urban area and its infrastructure in  Koraput district

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik informed this after a meeting held at the state secretariat.

With the total expenses of RS 30.71 crore, people of 46 urban local bodies (ULBs) with four municipal corporations would get safe drinking water by this additional 100 water supply project.

By stepping forward, keeping in mind the increasing rate of needy people,  the eight new Aahar centres should be opened at  Nilagiri Sub Divisional Hospital premises in Balasore district, near Sub Divisional Hospital at Kamakhyanagar in Dhenkanal district,  Chandikhol Chhak in Jajpur district,  Bypass Chhak near Pattamundai in Kendrapara district,  the Court premises in Anandpur of Keonjhar district, near the new bus stand at Karanjia, in front of the Block office at Udala in Mayurbhanj district and  new hospital premises at Konark in Puri district.

A total number of 21 Aahar centres have been opened in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhumpur, Rourkela and Sambalpur Municipal Corporation.

Patnaik also announced city bus services for Koraput –Jeypur- Sunabeda route.

The bus service would be managed by a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), Jeypore, Koraput and Sunabeda Urban Transport Trust (JKSUTT).
