Health minister reviewed dengue situation

Bhubaneswar, July 4: To deal with the increasing rate of dengue afflicted persons, Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak on Monday organized a review meeting at Bhubaneswar to take a look at the situation.

Till now as many as 225 people have been affected from dengue in the state. From them, 13 patients are admitted in various hospitals and 12 in SCB medical college and hospital. while 1 patient is in district head quarter hospital at Keonjhar.  Special arrangement for all patients have been done, minister informed after the review meeting.

Adding to this ADMO Keonjhar informed that dengue situation is in under control  Screening and survey of collecting blood sample started from June 26.

 Special Dengue wards are opened at  Barbil Community Health Centre (CHC) and number of health experts are  deployed at the affected area.
