Balasore, July 14: On Wednesday three BJD leaders, Dhiren Kumar Nayak, Biswamohan Barik and Kushal Chatterjee were taken under arrest and were later produced in court and then released on bail, for allegedly attacking BJP workers during Monday’s protest against health minister, Atanu Sabyasachi.

The arrests were based on a police complaint lodged by the BJP workers and subsequent inquiry into the alleged incident. Inspector, Pragyan Mohanty reported to the media saying that they are trying to catch hold off some more persons involved in the case. District BJD President and party’s chief, Ananta Das disapproved of the allegations put upon by the BJP against ministers on official visits, he also criticized attack on the opposition workers holding protest meetings. The BJP has been holding black flag demonstrations and rallies across the state during visits of state ministers.

In retaliation, BJP adopted techniques after BJD workers attacked Union minister Santosh Gangwar at Baragarh on June 24 while he along with another Union minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and former Jharkhand Chief Minister, Arjun Munda were going to address a public meeting organized to highlight two years achievement of the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre.
