Bhubaneswar, July 16: Today morning, a homeopathy doctor shot at a man allegedly for urinating near his clinic in Indradhanu Market in Nayapalli area.
The victim Maheswar Routray is a CESU staff who now has been shifted to Cuttack SCB hospital, initially admitted to Capital Hospital and his condition is said to be stable. The accused doctor, identified as Dr.Biswabhushan Pradhan, is arrested by the Nayapalli Police. And the revolver used, has also been seized by the police.
The victim Maheswar reported to the media saying that he was urinating at a waste dump near the clinic when the doctor suddenly came out and questioned him for his action. On answering him carelessly, the doctor suddenly flared up, went inside the clinic, came out with a revolver and shot at him. According to sources, Maheswar was accompanied by his staff who had come to see an Ayurvedic doctor in the area.
