Bhawanipatna, July 21: Due to the irregularities in distribution of LPG connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, cases have been lodged against three persons, including IOCL’s Kalahandi district area manager.
The district collector informed that widespread irregularities were found in the dealings of the Golamunda gas distributor due to which cases have been lodged. The Indane gas agency is also raided in the Golamunda block. The irregularities in the distribution of LPG connections came to notice when more gas connections were found with the same registration number. According to sources, around 140 beneficiaries have allegedly been a victim of this fraud.
