Cuttack, July 29: There was an outbreak of disorder at the council meeting of the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Friday, as opposition Congress and BJP Corporators put up protests against dengue outbreak in Cuttack.
BJP Corporators adopted a new and creative way of protest by spreading mosquito nets and sitting under them while the Congress Protestors stood up at their seats with placards mentioning the CMC’s failure to check the dengue outbreak.
A BJP Corporator said that the number of dengue-affected people has reached the 200-mark. The CMC has failed to control it and it is disappointing that the CMC has not taken up any drive to check the dengue situation which has been out of control.
