Rayagada, Aug 2: The 12 hour bandh by BJP today in Rayagada, to protest against the irregularities in the distribution of ration cards under the National Food Security (NFSA), seriously affected the life of people there.
Shops and establishments have been closed down at various places like Gunupur, Ramanaguda, Padmapur. Vehicular movement was also disrupted due to the road blockade by the BJP activists in Gunupur.
Ineligible beneficiaries should be removed from the ration card list and eligible beneficiaries should be included, demanded the protestors.
