Cuttack, Aug 4: Over the Mahanadi issue between Odisha and Chhattisgarh, the ruling BJD today staged a protest rally in front of the Cuttack collector’s office. All the BJD MLAs from Cuttack district, minister and hundreds of party activists participated in the rally.
Earlier, disagreeing to form a joint control board (JCB) with the Chhattisgarh government in order to solve the water issues, BJD halted all trains going to Chhattisgarh for 30 minutes on Wednesday.
