‘Yaad Karo Kurbani’; Union Ministers to pay tribute to Odia freedom fighters

Bhubaneswar, Aug 16: Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Chhotu Ram Chaudhary and Union Telecommunications Minister, Manoj Sinha will visit Odisha to attend the programme ‘Yaad Karo Kurbani’, organized by the BJP starting from the Kranti Divas on August 9 on account of 70th Independence Day.

As per the information, Minister Chaudhary would visit Nilakanthapur village, the birth place of Baji Rout,  tomorrow and Minister Sinha would visit the native place of Chandan Hajuri also known as Chakhi Khuntia at Puri on August 20, to pay tributes to these freedom fighters.

Notably, the programme ‘Yaad Karo Kurbani’, which was started by the BJP on August 9, will culminate on August 23. As per the programme, Union Ministers are visiting native places of freedom fighters of various States.
