Cuttack, Aug 19: Today the cops had arrested three more accused named Dillip Das, Sanjay Das and Jaga Das related to the loot and gang rape case at the Jhinkiria village under the Cuttack-Sadar police limits on July 27.
Dillip and Sanjay reside in Dhamnagar village in Bhadrak district and Jaga is a resident of Aul in Kendrapara district. Police have seized the mobile of the victim from their possessions. Various loot and dacoit cases have been lodged against these three at different police stations. Earlier, two main accused, Gadadhar Das and his associate Ratnakar Das, both of whom who belong to Dhamnagar village had been taken into custody.
Notably, all these miscreants had looted the house of a 29-year-old married woman late on July 26 night and allegedly had robbed off all her valuables from the house at knife point before taking turns in raping her.
