Heavy rainfall in South Coastal Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Aug 23: Rainfall has occurred at many places over Odisha with heavy rainfall at one or two places over South Coastal Odisha. Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours rainfall of 6.1m along with thundershowers thus having a maximum and minimum temperature of 33 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius respectively on Wednesday having a cloudy atmosphere all around.

The relative humidity will be 98 percent at its maximum and 80 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT Sub-Division.

On Friday and Saturday, Coastal Odisha would experience heavy rainfall and on Sunday along with Coastal Odisha, interior parts of the state will also receive few showers. On the basis of weather report submitted by the MeT officials, there is no change in climate as of now. The highest maximum temperature of 34.6 degree C was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 20 degree C was recorded at Sundergarh in the plains of Odisha.
