Bhubaneswar, Aug 29: Eve-teasing was stopped when a private tuition teacher, Binod Kumar Sahoo was publicly beaten for allegedly misbehaving with an MBA female student of Utkal University and making an indecent proposal to her yesterday. It’s stated that the accused had passed off some indecent comments on the girl who was rushing to her hostel last evening. On getting trapped, the victim called her friends over phone. They soon reached the spot, stopped Binod and thrashed him up with bamboo sticks. Post this, the police arrived at the spot and rescued the culprit. It’s stated that Binod has been detained for interrogation and an FIR has also been filed against him.
