Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is the richest among his cabinet colleagues with assets to the tune of Rs 43 crore.
As per the latest declaration made by ministers for the year 2014-15, Naveen declared Rs 43 crore including his shares in paternal properties in New Delhi and Bhubaneswar. However, he revealed that he had
borrowed Rs 15 lakh from his sister Geeta Mehta last year.
The declaration showed that Urban Development Minister Pushpendra Singhdeo had purchased Rs 15 lakh worth gold for his younger daughter. Law Minister Arun Sahoo is the poorest among all with an asset worth
only Rs 30 lakh. He bought gold worth Rs 2 lakh for his wife.
Health & Family Welfare Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak decalared his wife’s assets worth Rs 1.38 crore. Food Supplies Minister Sanjay Dasburma’s total assets is Rs 2.12 crore. He invested Rs 1 crore in a
newspaper owned by his wife.
