Forest range officer under Vigilance net

Rourkela, Aug 30: On the basis of owning disproportionate assets, the Vigilance officers raided the Biramitrapur forest range officer, Chandra Sekhar Gadnayak’s house located in Biramitrapur on Tuesday. In the simultaneous raids, Vigilance also raided the ancestral house of Gadnayak in Pallahara and Rourkela and Gadnayak’s office in Biramitrapur.

The raids were initiated by the anti-corruption wing of Odisha police.

Some implicating documents and bank passbooks of Gadnayak have been seized during the raid, sources informed.

The raid was still being conducted, as per the last report.
