Bhubaneswar, Sept 1: Odisha government will soon launch a scheme named ‘’Biju Gaon Radio’’ to disseminate important information on various issues to the farmers in rural areas of the state.
It’s stated that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed for implementation of the scheme after Odisha University for Agriculture and Technology Vice-Chancellor, Surendranath Pasupalak made a presentation about community radio programme here yesterday. The community radio programme would mainly provide information to rural people about agriculture, Cooperatives, irrigation, health, education, disaster management, culture and consultancy based on data.
