Angul, Sept 1: A woman was brutally hacked by her husband with a vegetable cutter (Paniki) here over a family dispute. It’s stated that Arakhita Sethi of Kangula village under Angul police limits attacked his wife Sushama Sethi (45) after a violent exchange of words while the later was busy in cooking. Sushama sustained injuries on her face. She was immediately taken to the Angul District Headquarters Hospital as she was in a critical condition and was later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital as her condition deteriorated.
Notably, Earlier the culprit has served an eight months jail term for attacking his wife over a family quarrel.
