Bhubaneswar, Sept 1: The prestigious Nalco Guru Kelucharan Award 2016 will be given to famous Dance Guru Kishore Kumar Mohanty and Ollywood actress Jhrana Das.
Along with this, the cash prize of Rs 1 lakh would also be given to the awardees.
Besides this, in Odissi dance category, Rajib Bhattacharya form Kolkata, and Mrs Madhusmita Mohanty from Bhubaneswar will be honored with the Nalco Kelucharan Mohapatra Yuva Pratibha Samman 2016. For Bharatnatyam, P Praveen Kumar from Bangalore and for Odissi music, Rupak Kumar Parida from Bhubaneswar have been nominated.
Newly instituted award, ‘Nrutya Kala Samman’ with cash prize of RS 30,000 will be given to Mrs Madhubrata Satpathy.
All the awardees will be felicitated at the Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra festival at Rabindra Mandap which will continue for five days commencing from September 5.
