North Odisha to receive maximum rainfall in the next 24 hours

Bhubaneswar, Sept 6: Rainfall has occurred at many places over Odisha with heavy rainfall at one or two places over North Odisha. Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours rainfall of 5.9mm along with thundershowers thus having a maximum and minimum temperature of 29 degree Celsius and 24 degree Celsius respectively on Wednesday having a cloudy atmosphere all around.

The relative humidity will be 100 percent at its maximum and 92 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT Sub-Division.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday North Odisha will have very heavy showers and there will be heavy down in the South of the state. On Saturday and Sunday, heavy rainfall is likely to occur in Coastal Odisha.

On the basis of weather report submitted by the MeT officials, there is no significant change in the climate as of now.

The highest maximum temperature of 31.0oC was recorded at Sundergarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 19.5oC was recorded at Keonjhar in the plains of Odisha.
