Rourkela, Sep 8: Yesterday night at Bank Colony near Chhend in Rourkela, Odisha a woman named Janaki Oram was found dead with her throat slit.
Janaki was the wife of a bank employee. Her 15-day old baby girl was saved and immediately admitted to the nearby hospital. It’s stated that the victim’s husband named Kamal Kishore Oram had gone to the bank after having his lunch in the afternoon. After he returned home last night he found his wife dead and informed the police immediately about the mishap.
Police have started investigating the incident. The reason behind the killing is yet to be ascertained.
