Kalahandi, Sept 24: The dead body in a decomposed condition of Nakatamani school headmaster named Raghumani Rout was recovered by the Police from a hill in Kalahandi on Friday.
As per the information, he was transferred to Nakatamani School from Badabhuin School. On Tuesday, as he did not come home till late night, Rout’s family members had filed a missing case at Golamunda police station on the same day following which a search operation was carried out by local police and SOG jawans in nearby Nakatakani forest.
On Thursday, the cycle of Rout was found in Nakatakani area.
Later, on Friday the decomposed body of Rout was recovered by the police from Nagesh hill with a knife besides his body. It is suspected by the police that before throwing his body, he had been murdered by slitting his throat.
Rout’s family members have demanded a probe into the matter and catch hold of the miscreants behind the crime.
