Puri: September 27: Assuring jobs in overseas countries, Puri-based consultancy firm SCT Travel has cheated huge amount of money from around hundred youths. It has collected Rs 1 crore around from the youths of Ganjam, Nayagarh, Puri, Khurda and Cuttack district.
The consultancy firm, located at Kuchinda Vihar in Puri also collected money for making their visa without providing them proper money receipts. A complaint in this regard was filed against Nrusingha Maharana, owner of the dubious company with Puri SP.
District Police has sealed the office of the consultancy firm and interrogating some of the employees of the firm to know its modus operandi.
