Bhubaneswar: September 30: Capital Police arrested Purnadutt Mohanty, for his alleged involvement in snatching Mobile Phone and Gold Jewellery from the brave girl Chinmayee. Two of his associates are yet to be traced.
Notably, three bike-borne miscreants attacked a lone girl Chinmayee Bhuyan at around 9.30 pm on Sunday in Unit 9 area of Bhubaneswar when she was on her way to home. Miscreants snatched her mobile phone and gold jewellery while she was speaking over phone. She chased the miscreants for around three kilometres and dashed her scooter with their bike. The snatchers fell down and left leaving their bike on the spot.
