Nayagarh, Oct 3: In a similar incident of electrocution, while plucking flower a youth named Khirod Acharya died on Sunday at Khandapada block colony.
As per the information, it is said that allegedly someone had connected a live wire to the plant to restrict flower theft. Following which, Khirod died on spot after he came in contact with the wire while plucking the flower.
After the incident, road blockade were witnessed by locals on the Nayagarh- Khandapada road and a driver named Krushna Patnaik was also arrested by the police as his involvement is suspected in this incident.
