Bhubaneswar, Oct 5: Today on the day of the elections, violence broke out at the Utkal University campus when a student was allegedly attacked by a group of students and got severely hurt. It’s stated that the victim is a student of the Library Science department. He had war of words with a group of students when he was going to cast his vote.
Following the incident, the latter attacked him. The student got hurt on his head and was been admitted to the Capital Hospital here. Around 10 platoons of armed police have been deployed at the campus to maintain law and order.
