NSUI and Youth Cong activists wave black flags at Odisha CM’s convoy yesterday in Berhampur, Odisha; 20 activists detained by cops

Berhampur, Oct 5: Yesterday the Odisha unit of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) and Youth Congress activists displayed off black flags to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik while he was on a day-long tour of Ganjam here. This happened near PVN Rao fuel station here. Even though the local police attempted to block the demonstrators, some of them clashed with the security staff and managed to wave black flags at the convoy of Patnaik.

However, 20 activists still have been detained by the cops and the CM’s plans went according to the schedule without any disturbances in them. He inaugurated several project in the district yesterday.
