Paradip, Oct 8: In a road accident, when a speeding truck hit a bike at Hatitanki, Paradip, a person named Dibakar Parida and his son-in-law named Benudhar Tarai died on the spot on Saturday morning. Post incident, irate people in a fit of rage burnt tyres and staged road blocks on the Chandikhole-Paradip road thus demanding compensation for the kin of deceased.
Police by reaching the spot started investigation on this and arrested the truck driver. As per the sources, the driver was driving the trunk in drunken condition
