Angul, Oct 18: During broad daylight on Monday afternoon, two armed miscreants looted Rs 4 lakh from a private company employee while he was on his way to deposit the amount in the State Bank of India (SBI) in Gandhi Marg area in Angul district.
As per reports, while Mohan Yadav, employee of Dhanbad Gas Agency was on his way to deposit Rs 4 lakh in the SBI bank, two miscreants on a bike intercepted his way and tried to snatch the money bag from him. When he tried to resist, the miscreants attacked him with a bhujali, took the cash bag from him and fled from the spot. After hearing Yadav shout, the locals rushed to the spot and took him to a hospital.
On receiving the information, police reached the spot and began the search operation to trace the looters. An FIR has also been filed by Yadav at the local police station in this connection.
