Kendrapara, Oct 19: During welding work, as a digital generator of the Kendrapara district headquarters hospital (DHH) reportedly caught fire, a fire broke out at the DHH today.
As per reports, during welding work of a cover of the digital generator which was being constructed by the hospital authorities after the Sum hospital fire mishap, the machine caught fire following which the generator was gutted in the fire.
Apprehending danger, some patients and their relatives ran away from the hospital after the incident.
Fire personnel rushed to the spot after receiving information from the hospital authorities and managed to get the fire under control.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
