Mahakalapada, Oct 23: To show his strength even after his resignation from the post of State Health Minister, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak held a motorcycle rally at his Assembly Constituency in Mahakalapada on Saturday.
As per the information, starting the rally from Canal Bridge, Nayak with his supporters visited some places in Mahakalapada and addressed a public meeting at Ramachandipeetha in Ramnagar.
Addressing the media persons, Nayak said that the Chief Minister has done various developmental works for Mahakalapada constituency. Keeping in mind the upcoming panchayat polls, the BJD party activists have been asked to work together to strengthen the party, he further added.
It may be noted that, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak resigned on Friday from his post of Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Odisha as the pressure went up against him on the issue of fire mishap at SUM Hospital.
