Baripada, Oct 26: At a meeting conducted at Suliapada High School field in Mayurbhanj today, a youth named Rushikesh Patra allegedly threw eggs at Odisha CM, Shri Naveen Patnaik. It’s stated that the incident happened when Patnaik was on the Dias to lay the foundation stones of different projects in the district. That was the time when the youth who was present in the gathering hurled eegs on the CM when he was just about to deliver his speech, however, the CM remained unaffected.
Patra is a student of MPC Autonomous College here and is also a student Congress leader. After the incident he was thrashed by the BJD members and was taken to the Police Station and detained there.
