Jajpur, Nov 3: In an unfortunate incident, one person identified as Ramachandra Mallick (51) of Aligaon and police personnel identified as OSAP jawan Bhagabat Marandi of Bhalakudi village, died while another person sustained critical injuries after two bikes collided with each other on National Highway-215 at Patuli Chhak under Korei block in Jajpur district on Wednesday.
In the collision, Marandi died on the spot while Mallick and the other person sustained critical injuries. The two were rescued by locals and taken to Jajpur road community health centre (CHC). However, Mallick succumbed to his injuries at the CHC while undergoing treatment.
