Kendrapara, Nov 8: Today the Odisha CM, Naveen Patnaik will be visiting Kendrapara in order to inaugurate a number of welfare schemes in the district. It’s stated that he will be addressing public meetings at Mahakalpara, Rajnagar and Kendrapara College ground. Kendrapara MP, Baijayant Panda along with the local MLAs will accompany the chief minister during his visit to the district. Most important of all will be his visit to Mahakalpara, the constituency of Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak who recently resigned from the post of Health Minister following the SUM Hospital fire mishap. CM Naveen Patnaik will be joined by both Baijayant Panda and Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak at the gathering at Mahakalpara. It’s stated that tension is already prevailing as supporters of the former Health minister are ready to protest against the local MP over the former’s resignation.
On the other hand, security has been beefed up in the district ahead of CM’s visit. As many as 24 platoons of police force will be deployed. The district collector also held a preparatory meeting before Patnaik’s visit.
