JE Review: Dharmendra Pradhan to visit Malkangiri and other affected villages in Odisha on Nov 14

Bhubaneswar, Nov 11: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan will be visiting Malkangiri on November 14 to note the situation caused by the vector-borne disease, Japanese Encephalitis (JE) in the affected district, where till now the number of death has been reported to be around 102.

This was informed by Malkangiri district BJP president, Ashok Kumar Parida. He also said that the Union Minister will also visit Palkonda and Dariguda villages there in the district for the same. The minister will be accompanied by BJP State President Basant Panda, General Secretary Bhrugu Baxipatra and BJP Legislature Party Leader KV Singh Deo. Besides, Pradhan will also meet the patients at the Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital and would also discuss with the Health officials for further implementations.

Notably, Pradhan was supposed to visit Malkangiri on November 4 but due the security reasons, the District Administration cancelled the meet and also because the Maoists had conducted a bandh in five states which had Odisha in it as well.
